WalshDupart currently asset manages a portfolio of 20 hotels, spanning core-branded to boutique full-service assets nationwide. Our senior leadership has provided asset management services on 66 hotels over the past ten years.WalshDupart is an active asset manager for its own account and for industry partners.

Principal

Grant Dupart

Grant began his career in hotel operations before moving into hotel real estate investment with HVS Capital Corporation and HREC Investment Advisors. Prior to co-founding WalshDupart, he built and led the hospitality investment practice at McWhinney, a Colorado-based developer, growing the portfolio to nearly $1 billion under management and over 3,100 rooms through acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Grant leads investment and asset management strategy at WalshDupart.

 

He holds a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Denver and has served as an Adjunct Professor teaching the senior capstone in Hotel Investments and Asset Management.

Principal

John Walsh

John started his career with San Diego based Lusardi Construction where he was a professional hotel Project Manager. After six years of focusing on the hospitality sector, he transitioned to Howell Construction in Denver. Since the beginning of his career, John has overseen the completion of four hotels in some of the hardest-to-develop markets (Hampton Inn and Courtyard Santa Monica), two apartment buildings among many other projects, totaling over $300 million of work. With significant experience in both the field and the office, he brings a wealth of construction and development knowledge to the company.

 

John is a graduate of the University of Denver with a BSBA in Management, focused in Real Estate and Construction Management.

Vice President - Asset Management

Annie Mulvanny

Annie brings over 17 years of experience in hotel asset management, operations, and capital markets to WalshDupart. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Investments and Asset Management at McNeill Investment Group, overseeing a portfolio of 21 premium-branded hotels. Prior to McNeill, Annie worked for RobertDouglas advising on hospitality capital transactions. Additional roles include asset management for Ohana Real Estate Investors, where she managed a portfolio of luxury hotels and development projects valued at over $1 billion.

Annie has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and a Masters in Business Administration and Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.

Senior Associate

Amy Neill

Amy brings a wealth of hospitality operations and analytical experience rooted in food and beverage and hotel operations. Amy began her hospitality career as a classically trained pastry chef, working with some of the most prominent chefs in the country. Her experience transitioned into hospitality operations, and she earned her bachelor's degree in hotel administration from the University of Denver.

 

Amy’s post-graduate work in hotel investment analytics and prior operations experience enhance her execution in asset management with WalshDupart.

Director of Investments

Kyra Roach

Kyra began her career with Chartres Lodging where she supported acquisitions and asset management activities, including underwriting, due diligence, market research, performance report analysis, and other investment activities. During her time at Chartres, Kyra underwrote over $1 billion in potential acquisitions while asset managing a diverse, 2,500-key portfolio across four markets. Her previous experience includes internships in private equity at Ares Management and luxury hotel operations at Four Seasons.

 

Kyra is a Merrill Scholar graduate of Cornell University’s Hotel School with a degree in Hotel Administration and a minor in Real Estate.
